Sadly, this is a story that has been known by the Indian people for a very long time - ever since the passing of the Major Crimes Act in the 1800's.  Based on the actions of the Feds and on their total inaction, it is not surprising that the numbers for the Indians is, as usual, higher in every category than any other ethnicity in the United States.

Typically, the Feds and dominant society, are saying - Indians don't count - who cares.  Well, we do - 5.2 million of us care and your apathy has to stop.
