Look at this article - http://100r.org/2012/01/south-dakota-indians-sue-for-early-voting/ - if this were happening to the Blacks or Hispanic or Asian or Whites, people would be all over this like smell on dog-poo.
Ok folks - this is the 20th century - Custer's been dead since 1876 - 136 years ago - and the people in South Dakota still apply their "Indian hating" way of life in the political realm? C'mon - what's it gonna take to stop this racism? Buffalo County SD (Crow Creek reservation) 82% unemployment, Shannon County SD (Pine Ridge reservation) 94% unemployment, Ziebach County SD (Standing Rock reservation) 72% unemployment, Todd County SD (Rosebud reservation) 86% unemployment, Corson County SD (Standing Rock reservation) 85% unemployment - there is NO OTHER ethnicity in the United States living in those conditions, and the state wants to stop them from voting????? Get real America.
Look at what DOJ is attempting to do to South Carolina for their law on voter registration - OH NO, YOU CAN'T do that - it would infringe on the Blacks - that would be discrimination. Funny though, the Indian population in South Dakota is being denied their Constitutional right to vote - and nobody gives a crap?
How 'bout this link - http://www.indian.senate.gov/public/_files/January2820102.pdf - unemployment among Native Americans - two days ago, a posting on NV about a town in California that may have an unemployment rate of 28% and folks were boo-hooing. Strange how we don't hear any boo-hooing about the unemployment rate among Native Americans that, on the average, is higher than, again, ANY ethnic group in the United States - but, they're not Black, Hispanic, Asian or White, so they don't count, eh?
That's right - they're only Indian - they're gonna die soon and we'll own it all.
